Who Can I Nominate for an Award?

You can nominate anyone or anything. This includes individuals, groups, organizations, and businesses. The nomination doesn’t have to be limited to a person—let your imagination guide you. If it stands out as extraordinary to you, it’s eligible for nomination. We are currently accepting nominations in New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island. You may nominate on behalf of yourself, your organization, or your company, provided you have their explicit permission.

How Do I Submit a Nomination?

Submitting a nomination is straightforward. Simply complete the form at the bottom of this page. Provide as much detail as possible to assist us in our evaluation. If additional information is needed, we will reach out to you. Once you submit, your nomination is securely stored in our database.

While we require your name to prevent self-nomination, we will keep your identity confidential if you prefer the nominee not to know who submitted the nomination. However, please note that anonymous nominations are marked as such, and based on past experience, some recipients may be hesitant to accept anonymous awards. Only opt for anonymity if absolutely necessary.

What Happens After I Submit My Nomination?

Once your nomination is received, we begin by verifying its authenticity. If everything is in order, it will be reviewed by one of our team. Our volunteers dedicate considerable time to researching each nomination, and the selection process can take several months. If needed, we may contact you for additional information.

If your nomination is successful, we will notify you. Due to the high volume of submissions, we regret that we cannot inform those whose nominations were not selected.

How Will the Awards Be Presented?

Award presentations will be made at the Atlantic Entertainment Expo. Dates of the events can be found here. Further information will be shared closer to the time.
